The military has confirmed that members of militant Islamic group, Boko Haram were killed in blast at their bomb factory in Maiduguri, Borno state on Friday.

Lt. Col. Hassan Mohammed confirmed that three members of Boko Haram died in the blast at a house close to University of Maiduguri.

The Associated Press said its reporter saw timers attached to undetonated bombs and tools such as remote controls and oil cans in the debris at the scene of the incidence.
