The Nigerian Army is reportedly investigating suspected Boko Haram collaborators within its precincts.
Following this investigation, the Army said it has arrested a total of 32 suspects.
According to Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, acting Director Army Public Relations officer, among those arrested were 2 officers, 2 soldiers, 2 policemen and 26 civilians.
“Please be informed the ongoing investigation on suspected Boko Haram terrorists collaborators and saboteurs in the fight against terrorism and insurgency has led to the arrest of 9 more persons over the last 24 hours, thus bringing the number to 32, this comprise of 2 officers, 2 soldiers, 2 policemen and 26 civilians.
Usman added that many more suspects would be arrested and prosecuted based on evidences against them.
