The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the election of the Imo state governor, Rochas Okorochas and his Delta state counterpart, Emmanuel Uduaghan.

The court dismissed the appeal lodged by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Imo State, Mr. Ikedi Ohakim challenging the election of Rochas Okorochas of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the governor of the state.

The apex court also dismissed the suit filed by the governorship candidate of the Democratic Peoples Party ( DPP) Chief Great Ogboru against the election of PDP’s Emmanuel Uduaghan as the governor of Delta State.
